The "Super" Moon
Not the image I really wanted, the intention was to visit Ramshaw Rocks near Leek and take photographs with the rocks as a foreground. The weather forecast however was for heavy cloud, drizzle and mist, we obviously weren't driving over 40 miles on what seemed like a wasted journey. It was only when I was drawing our bedroom curtains that I noticed the moon was visible and the sky almost clear. A quick dash downstairs to the front of the apartments and just using my "bean bag" against the railings (the tri-pod was in the car) as a support I took a series of shots.
Super Moon.
Super Moon.
