8th September 2016

An afternoon and early evening visit to Ramshaw Rocks, Staffordshire.
After a great visit in August (see 26th August 2016), we decided to spend some more time at Ramshaw Rocks, still in our "own" county and a little over a hours drive from home. Surprising the heather which looked magnificent last time had already started to lose its colour and with more cloud than forecast a sunset was not going to be great. However the photograph I took below more than made the drive worthwhile. 5 exposures taken from 1/45 sec' to 1/3 sec' at F11, ISO100, and merging to HDR in Adobe Lightroom CC.
