For being so understanding on why we wish to “do the dream and not just dream it”, we will miss them both whilst we are away, but promise to keep in touch as much as communication restraints allow.

For allowing us to disrupt her house and causing such chaos. We promise to  “tidy up” before we leave and we have always been in by 10.30pm!

Pain in my foot now out of 10, Zero.  A remarkable result after being in pain for so long and I still have beautiful feet!

Such an active fund raiser for St Giles Hospice, she should be honoured by the Queen!  Both for the fund raising and putting up with us!

For  viewing our  itinerary, and answering our questions.  The ideas and recommendations are extremely helpful and if we miss anything we will be to blame. Thanks also for allowing us to use  one of his Motorhomes to tour his country. We promise not to get it too dirty!  However, not to sure about the suggestion of driving UP Whakapapa (Mount Ruapehu) as we will have to drive DOWN again, perhaps we’ll ask Gollum  (depending on what mood he’s in)  to help us.

What a friendly company, sorted Jenny's complex dive mask lens prescription and delivered as promised, she will be able to see a Minnow from 50 yards away.  Whoops! that looks more like a Shark!!!!!!

We made a few changes to dates, destinations and also made a couple of additions, nothing was to much trouble for them, and they kept us up to date with progress.  Well done.

Billy Tea Safaris, Thank you for receiving our parcel of prescription drugs from the UK and help with hotel reservations in Cairns.

Grace and Ian, Pat and Keith, Lyn, Terry, Tom, Allan (the doc’) and Pat, Lin and Mick and especially Chocko for making our trip to “the tip” so special, an experience we will never forget.

Terry and Ingrid, thank you for inviting us to the “farewell” coffee morning and the tour of your wonderful rain forest garden.

Tony and Mavis from Sydney, for the information on campsites etc, on our way along the top.

Thank you Lyn, a great saving on the fuel at Tennant Creek, thanks also to the “unknown” tanker driver from “United Fuels” who we had a yarn to and told us all the cheap fuel stops up the Stuart Highway.

Richard “Kakadu Air”, pilot and bus driver on our flight across Kakadu National Park, a fantastic experience.

Frank Turton “the Chookman” for a great nights entertainment at the famous (or infamous) Daly Waters Pub.

Sean our guide on our “Animal Tracks” tour and especially Patsy the Aboriginal lady who showed us the interesting “bush tucker”, we eat it all!

Tricia our “skipper” on the Yellow Waters tour, she was so enthusiastic and passionate about “her” river and her knowledge of the flora and fauna was staggering, and at times very amusing.

Nadeen Lovell at the Lovell Gallery in Kununurra, for recommending the camp ground at Parry Creek, she wasn’t wrong!

Ron and Sandra who very kindly drove us to Marlgu Lagoon from the camp site at Parry Creek as we were unable to drive ourselves in the motorhome along the 4WD track because of hire restrictions.

The staff at Turkey Creek Roadhouse for keeping our food in cold storage, while we enjoyed ourselves in the Bungle Bungles.

Bill our Aboriginal guide on the Geike Gorge tour, a man with a wealth of knowledge of “his” river and Aboriginal laws and culture, I didn’t know I had about 30 wives and Jenny 50 husbands, very amusing!

Gary (our driver, guide, and cook), Runa and Violet, Christina and Ken, Mary and Timmy, and Danika, on the “Kimberley Wild” tour, it really was “wild”, what a fantastic group of people they were, we had such a laugh.

Rebecca and Alex (despite being a Liverpool fan) and the rest of the staff at Parry Creek resort.

Michelle at the Adelaide Tourist Office, who booked our ferry to Kangaroo Island for us, rang the 2 camp grounds to make sure they had vacancies and also told us “the not to be missed” places on the island.

Glyn and Jo from Coventry UK, we enjoyed our evening (and early morning), chatting, look forward to seeing you again when we are all back home.

Majella and Barry at the “Possum Shed” in Westerway, Tasmania, wonderful surroundings, delicious food and such a warm welcome.

Pat and Brian on Bruny Island, our new friends we met on Magnetic Island, we had a fantastic 2 days with them, we also “camped” on their drive, thank you also to their friends Rex and Liz for inviting us to their home and the gift of a Opal stone.

Runa and Violet the “mad scientists” from our Kimberley Wild tour, thank you for a wonderful evening in Melbourne, thank you also Runa for a great day “sightseeing” on Sunday.
